About Club Eros

Club Eros has been operated continuously since April 1972 and is the largest swingers organization in Canada, and among the top 10 worldwide. Our main purpose is to provide a forum where like minded couples can get together to explore and expand their sexual horizons. We are a private membership club for couples in committed relationships only and we enforce a strict no admittance policy for single men. Memberships are granted to couples as a unit, and they may only attend the club together. This ensures a totally relaxed, no-pressure environment in which couples can comfortably meet each other.

We host dances in Toronto, Ontario each and every weekend where dozens of swingers get together, socialize, meet new people and arrange later liaisons. Our members also host, by invitation only, much more intimate members-only parties, where guests can feel uninhibited, free to relax and explore their fantasies with each other. We also organize trips for our members, both weekend jaunts to other swingers' clubs as well as week-long holidays in conjunction with other swingers' clubs to some of the finest resorts in North America. We truly do have something for everyone in the lifestyle! We can provide for you the setting in which you can begin to explore your sexual fantasies. And because of our large membership base (currently in excess of 3,000 couples), we know that whoever or whatever you are looking for, you'll likely find it at Club Eros!!

Membership Rates

Regular Silver Card Membership ($89 per couple per year): This is the basic membership package which the majority of our members select.; Club dance admission price with this membership is $20 per couple.
Long Distance Silver Card Membership ($45 per couple per year): Offers the same benefits as a Regular Silver Card Membership, but for couples who live more than 200 miles from Toronto and thusly would attend Club Eros functions less frequently.; Club dance admission price with this membership is $20 per couple.
Gold Card Membership ($329 per couple per year): Offers unlimited free access to all Club Eros dances (except New Year's Eve), plus all the benefits of regular membership. Club dance admission price with this membership is FREE. (This is the BEST value membership); Access to Club Eros functions; Our informative monthly club newsletter; An opportunity to be invited to our members-only parties; Free travel information on similar clubs worldwide; Membership priveleges at hundreds of other reciprocating clubs worldwide; A chance to vacation in our "Swing Away" travel program at some of the finest resorts in the US, Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii & Europe; Periodic discounts with hotels, lingerie stores and other retailers; Exclusive offers of swinging related products and services available only to Club Eros members

We also offer a special short term (3 month) "No Frills" membership package for couples who can only attend one or two functions over the life of their membership (ie in Toronto for a holiday or passing through on business etc)

We'll forward to you, by mail (it's too large to send by fax or e-mail!), a complete package on our club including general information brochures on the club, a membership application form, a current monthly newsletter, swing tours and holiday information, directions and a map to the club as well as a personal invitation to the both of you to come and check the club out for yourselves. How to Get to Club Eros

As Club Eros is a private members-only club, we do not list our club address or directions to the club in our advertising (neither in print nor on the internet). We do however invite prospective member couples to come out to the club for a one-time visit to see for yourself what the club is about, and see if it is what you are looking for. Phone, write or e-mail us (or use our handy response form) for your personal invitation package (which we will send out via regular mail) for the both of you to visit Club Eros. Directions etc will be in this invitation package. (The address in our literature and on our website is a PO Box address for postal mail only and is not the club location address.)

Our bar space is also available for rent on non-club nights (Sun - Thurs) for corporate events, sports leagues, dating groups, other clubs etc. See our venue page for more info.

About Our Members

As is to be expected with a well established longterm club like ours, we have a very large and diverse group of members (Currently more than 3,000 couples!). Ages range from early 20's to early 50's with that complete age spectrum being well-represented. Thus there is no "average" age of our members, but a good wide range. You'll find as many couples there who are 22 as you will find couples who are 42. Our members come from all over, not just the Greater Toronto Area (in fact over 60% live 2 hours or more from the club, including other provinces and the US). Virtually any and every interest group, employment background, political affiliation or whatever is well represented in our membership. The profile of our average member is the profile of the average person you could meet on the street, in your neighbourhood, at your job, or in any other outside activity you participate in. We also have no arbitrary nor prejudicial requirements for membership involving race, economic status, geographic proximity etc. We are proud to be members of NASCA(North American Swing Club Association) and are listed by them as an =EOLO(Equal Opportunity Lifestyle Organization)

We have three basic simple requirements for membership:

Memberships are granted only to a couple as a unit. Thusly the couple together are considered members, neither is a member on their own.
Memberships are granted only to couples in longterm committed relationships. Casually dating couples who are using each other merely for access to the club contravene the philosophy of what makes swinging work and are therefore precluded from membership or attendance at our club.
Memberships are granted to couples who are BOTH equally and actively interested in the lifestyle. Couples who have no intention of swinging or are pressuring their spouse to do something they don't want to do simply do not belong at a swingers club.

If you and your partner fulfill these simple membership criteria, you'll find you'll fit in very easily at Club Eros.
And because all of our other member couples have also passed these requirements, you'll find the atmosphere at Club Eros to be very relaxed, comfortable and very highly sexually charged. As there are no "outsiders" there, conversations are animated and uninhibited, the dress-code (or should that be undress code?!?) is wild and provocative, and the action is hot and steamy!
You'll find that everyone is there for the same reasons, which makes meeting other compatible couples very natural and easy.

What Makes Club Eros Different Than Other Local Clubs

From time to time you'll run into other clubs trying to "cash in" on the lifestyle. Some call themselves couples clubs, some call themselves alternative lifestyle clubs, some even try to call themselves swingers clubs, but none of them are like Club Eros. We are often imitated, but never duplicated! In fact over the past two years over 20 of these other clubs have surfaced in the Toronto area. With a couple of notable exceptions they have generally lasted about three months. Yet Club Eros has been around now for 36 years! There are some very good reasons why!

Firstly, Club Eros is hosted by Ron & Wendy Michaels, an active swinging couple who have been personally involved in the lifestyle for three decades. From our own personal experience we know what makes swing clubs work, and more importantly what doesn't. We know what we look for in a club ourselves: That whole package of things that make a club feel right. And that's exactly the format we model Club Eros upon - giving you what you want out of a swingers club.

Secondly our strict membership policy ensures that no outsiders, wannabes or uninvolved thrillseekers spoil your evening for you. Unlike some other clubs, we don't publish our address in our advertising and we don't admit uninvited non-members who show up at the door. This keeps out the non-swingers, the troublemakers, the "lookie-loos" and the assholes in general. We also have strict policy of "no single guys", which goes a long way to maintaining the fun, but non-pressured atmosphere at the club.

Thirdly our large and diverse membership group ensures that there will be couples there whom you want to meet and to swing with. This simply isn't possible at other clubs which cater only to limited groups of members (for example only older swingers) or open their doors to nonswingers. (We simply see no good reason to artificially inflate our attendance by adding non-swingers to the mix like another local club does. Swingers come to a swingers club to meet swingers, pure and simple, and that's what we're all about!) You'll also find some clubs inflate their membership claims by considering everyone who has ever signed onto their website as a "member". If that were the case, we've had millions of hits on our website, and over 25,000 people on our mailing list. But we don't use those numbers. Our 3,000 members are 3,000 real world paid member couples!

Most importantly though we have a very thorough understanding of the legal aspects of swinging and what can and can't take place at a swinger's club. While our evenings are fun, erotic and very sexually charged, we know where, how and why to draw the line. Some other clubs allow public access and then promote behaviour that places their members in very real legal jeopardy. But, most importantly, any swing club which does not limit attendance to Members & Invited Guests Only is inviting problems for itself and also for all those who attend that club.
